Rush limbaugh live indianapolis12/14/2023 ![]() ![]() RUSH: Oh, I see, I get it, you think that the Tea Party and me and a whole bunch of others, we’re gonna be disappointed no matter what happens today?ĬALLER: You’re gonna be shocked, you’re gonna be disappointed somewhat because the first thing they’re gonna have to do is raise the deficit to keep funding the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq because they don’t want those troops out of Afghanistan or Iraq. ![]() The first thing they’re gonna do is raise the deficit - (crosstalk) RUSH: You don’t think the Republicans are going to win control of the House?ĬALLER: They might, but if they do, your side is gonna be in for a rude awakening, especially the Tea Party movement who actually think the Republicans are actually gonna do something about cutting spending. RUSH: All right, so what’s the point of all this?ĬALLER: The point of all this is if the Republicans take over the House of Representatives you guys are gonna be in for a rude awakening. That’s good.ĬALLER: - (unintelligible) but a lot of people don’t even understand what socialism or communism really is. Of course, you try fearmongering and stuff like that. McCain would call himself a bad name first.ĬALLER: Yeah, anything to try to win an election. RUSH: Well, yeah, McCain doesn’t do that. RUSH: Look, John McCain even called him a socialist.ĬALLER: Yeah, because it’s easy to put that label on somebody. I think if Obama could be anybody, either Castro or maybe Che Guevara. If he could be anybody, it would be Castro. I think he really identifies with people back then. Jeff, you know who he really wishes he could be? I think Obama regrets that he wasn’t born soon enough to be alive in the sixties. RUSH: Okay, if you don’t like communism, socialism, he’s a Marxist, he’s a Stalinist, he’s a totalitarian. ![]() RUSH: Well, then you’re wearing shades that are too dark.ĬALLER: I’m not blind. I can’t see it.ĬALLER: No, I’m not blind. ![]() RUSH: What? What am I distorting out there, Jeff?ĬALLER: Because you’re actually getting people to think that Obama is the Second Coming of socialism or communism. RUSH: So you’re calling to congratulate me, then?ĬALLER: No, what I’m saying is there’s a lot of distortion going on, and you are part of it. RUSH: I’m impressed if you got through that because that’s a tough slog in spots.ĬALLER: Yes, I have it on my computer, I downloaded it.ĬALLER: I also downloaded Free to Choose by Milton Friedman RUSH: You read The Road to Serfdom by who? I read both of them and I also read The Road to Serfdom by Hayek and I also read some (unintelligible) stuff, too. I’ll betcha half of ’em haven’t even read the Communist Manifesto or Das Kapital. And it’s kinda strange that the Tea Party movement is running around talking about Obama is a socialist. And also, I am the one who is very aware all the things that the conservatives listen to. Well, you’re the second caller Election Day 2010.ĬALLER: Yes. RUSH: You are the first caller I took on Election Day 1994, the very first caller? Now, this call is ironic because I was the first caller you took on Election Day in 1994. Now (unintelligible) I listen to you on WIBC 93.1 FM in Indianapolis. I started back in 1992 listening to you from WLS Big 89 in Chicago. Now, I wanted the liberals out there to have this (unintelligible) for a long time. Welcome to the EIB Network.ĬALLER: Yes, thank you, Mr. ![]()
